Asus laptop keyboard issues? Empty Asus laptop keyboard issues?

Ive just purchased an Asus laptop and and have found that the @ and the # key' aren't linked to the correct keys in Asus Laptop Keyboard. The @ sign is shifted 2 and the hash sign is shifted 3 and not as it says on the keys. Is this a set up problem?

Shall I have to change my Laptop Keyboard. How about Compaq Laptop Keyboard or Gateway Laptop Keyboard.
